Your First Visit to Our Aiken Practice

Aiken chiropractic patients are always warmly welcomed. Please reserve about an hour for your first visit.  You can expect a warm and welcoming greeting from our front desk staff.  Our staff will also instruct you and help you, if needed, in filling-out the initial paperwork.

You will then be shown a short tour around the office and escorted to consultation room.  We will then present you with a short (4 minutes) "Welcome to our Office" video which can further answer some questions you may have at this point.

examination on first visitThen we will conduct initial consultation and review your history and primary complaint with you to better understand your problem.  At this point we will move you into examination room and perform evaluation.  Our Doctor will determine exactly what tests are relevant to evaluate your condition, and x-rays may be taken if deemed necessary.  We encourage you to bring with you any diagnostic studies you may have, such as x-rays or MRI's.

After examination is concluded we will typically continue on next visit, because we need time for our Doctor to analyze the findings before he can accept you as a patient or make a referral.  If you are in severe pain we will do our best to treat you for pain during this first visit.

Aiken chiropractic patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance.

Dr. Dan Asks some important questions of interest to Aiken residents - Chiropractor Aiken Dr. Dan Asks...

What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
How do chiropractors help ADHD?
There is agreement that ADHD is a nervous system disorder. And while chiropractic isn't a treatment for ADHD, if your child has subluxations, resolving them will often produce profound results. Click here to learn why more and more Aiken parents are choosing natural chiropractic care rather than dangerous psychotropic drugs.
